Anita was born in Bulgaria and was raised in the DC area, moving to Miami in 2019. She grew up playing competitive sports, and leading an active lifestyle is one of her top priorities. She has always loved sharing her passion for fitness and taught group exercise classes all throughout her college career.
Anita has practiced yoga on and off for years, and she started taking her journey more seriously in 2020, fully diving in during the pandemic. She discovered the immense physical and mental benefits of a consistent practice, and when a good friend introduced her to Skanda Yoga Studio, she knew this was the place to take her to the next level. Anita completed her 200 hour teacher training at Skanda Yoga and looks forward to sharing her passion and knowledge. As a teacher, her goal is to help her students discover yoga, deepen their practice, and fall in love with the process.
