Sofia Trojanowski – Los Angeles, CA.
Born and raised in Miami, FL of Colombian background. Sofia currently works in finance and teaches French to children. She lived in Miami until She graduated high school from MAST Academy then went to University of Florida to complete both her BA and Master’s degrees in French Literature. She once called the following places home: New York, Luxembourg, France, Colombia and Australia. The languages she speaks on a regular basis are English, Spanish and French.
She has always been an active in sports and wellbeing. She became an avid runner participating in half marathons throughout her travels and ended up settling back in Miami in 2015 as a triathlete and kettlebells trainee with multiple injuries to her shoulder and lower back. Upon her return to Miami, she discovered how Skanda Yoga practice was beneficial to her healing process by helping her improve her mobility, strength and flexibility.
With the guidance of her teachers Ken and Lina during the Skanda Yoga Teacher Training in 2017, she had uncovered a different view of life and the endless possibilities that come through with her yoga practice. She fell in love with the idea of being able to challenge the body in a unique way that other physical activities do not and persevere to achieve a personal goal. She is eager to share her enthusiasm with others guiding them through self-nurture and self-discovery in the asana practice.
