After completing her Masters of Mechanical Engineering Degree, she discovered yoga and immediately fell in love with the practice. She first began yoga to add variety to my exercise routine. However, what started off as a physical activity quickly became a mental and spiritual experience through the physicality. She not only noticed an improvement in flexibility and strength, but her stress and anxiety started to fade away. She achieved more mental clarity, focus, and direction for what she truly wanted in life. In 2016, she completed her teacher training from Skanda Yoga Studio and acquired an in-depth knowledge of yogic practices, asana alignment, stretching techniques, therapeutics, pranayama, and meditation.
In November of 2016, she went on a spiritual yoga retreat to Northern India where she learned more about the history of yoga and traditions. She also spent 3 days in Rishikesh on a retreat with Satguru Svami Purna which included listening to his teachings and pujas on the Ganges River. In March 2017, she left her corporate engineering career to pursue her passions of yoga, health, mindset, and spirituality. She loves sharing all she has learned with her students through strong, fun and inspiring classes. Her goal is not only to improve a student’s strength and flexibility but to take them beyond their self-imposed limitations, calm their minds and expose them to their True Self.
She currently lives and teaches in Dallas, Texas.
